2008 Schuylkill River Dues Policy

Active Playing Member - $200 per season (Spring & Fall)

• $200 to paid in full by March 15 for Spring or September 15 for Fall in order to maintain membership as an active playing member with voting privileges at team meetings
• $50 discount will be in effect for all new members in their first season and all student members
• Payment Plans maybe arranged with the treasurer as needed but are subjected to 10% premiums for late payments
• Any playing member failing to pay dues and/or arrange a payment plan by the payment deadline or to make payments for a prearranged payment plan on time may be declared ineligible to participate in matches and practices until dues balance is paid.
• A portion of each active playing member’s dues will go to cover to their annual USA Rugby CIPP registration when either full payment or the first $50 of a payment plan is received.

Alumni Member - $50 per season (Spring & Fall)

• $50 to paid in full by March 15 for Spring or September 15 for Fall in order to maintain membership as an alumni member with voting privileges at team meetings
• Payment Plans maybe arranged with the treasurer as needed but are subjected to 10% premiums for late payments
• All alumni members who want to be full & active club member with voting rights during a calendar year must pay alumni dues. Failure to make payment will restrict membership status to that of social member.
• A portion of each alumni member’s dues will include the members annual USA CIPP Fees as long as that member is an active participant in USA Rugby as either a club officer or administrator for Schuylkill River once full payment for a season is received.

Social Member - $0 per season

• Any social member of the club is allowed participate in team events (i.e. fundraisers, attend matches, post match socials, etc) but may be charged a fee for participation for the individual event if appropriate.
• Any social member may attend general team meetings but voting privileges may be restricted.

Lifetime Membership - $1200

• Lifetime Membership Eligibility requires that a member must have played with the club a full two years (4 fall/spring seasons) before being eligible
• Payments must either be lump sum of $1200 or payment plan over 6 months subject to 10% premium $220/month over 6 months ($1320 = 1200 +10%)
• Lifetime members will have full voting privileges at team meetings for life upon completion of their payment of lifetime membership dues
• Lifetime dues will include members annual USA CIPP Fees as long as that member is an active participant in USA Rugby as either a player, coach or administrator for Schuylkill River.
• Lifetime dues will not cover costs of team social events but may include a percentage off the cost for each event as appropriate.

Schuylkill River RFC is a non-profit organization which exists for the benefit of its playing members. Dues are set to cover the operational costs of the organization in a shared manner across the membership for the benefit of all. However as a non-profit organization, Schuylkill River RFC will not exclude any member who may not be able to pay a portion of their dues in a given season. Cases will be examined on an individual basis by the club’s officers to determine merit and reach a fair alternative method to support the club for each individual case.
